THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing Thesis Statement At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: identify the different types of thesis statement .
ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the cyclostyled sheets. Teacher gives an explanation. Teacher asks students to study and identify the thesis statement. Students and teacher discuss the different types of thesis statement.
REFLECTION	Many of the students need to do more practice to write the different types of thesis statement.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing Thesis Statement and Controlling Ideas At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: list out the controlling ideas
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks question orally. Students answer question orally. Teacher writes the task and asks students to brainstorm on the controlling ideas. Students present the controlling ideas. Teacher writes down the controlling ideas and gives an explanation.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to list out the controlling ideas but having problem with the thesis statement.

REFLECTION	Students managed to compare their answers with the correct answers.
