THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing – Teenagers running away from home At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: do mind mapping of ideas.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes the title on the blackboard. Students study the title of the essay. Teacher gives an explanation. Students write the thesis statement.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to complete the thesis statement.
DATE DAY CLASS TIME	23 MAC 2010 TUESDAY 6AK2 & 6AK4 10.20 – 11.30 & 11.30 – 12.40
THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing : continuation of yesterday lesson At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: list out the topic sentence.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher elicits information from the students. Students share the information on the topic. Teacher and students discuss the topic sentence. Students write the topic sentence and supporting details.
REFLECTION	Students were asked to complete their essay as homework.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar – Logical connectors & sequence connectors At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: identify logical & sequence connectors.
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes logical and sequence connectors. Students identify the connectors. Teacher gives an explanation. Students complete the blanks using either logical or sequence connectors.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to complete their work.
