THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing Skill By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: recall about the format for writing
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks question orally Students answer orally. Teacher gives an explanation. Teacher asks students to write simple thesis statement. Students write thesis statement.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to write simple thesis statement.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Speaking Skill (Motivation) By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: share their ideas in the class
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes the task on the blackboard. Teacher gives an explanation. Students prepare their individual task. Students present their ideas.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to present their ideas.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar- Past Tense By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: complete the exercise using past tense
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes examples on the blackboard. Teacher gives an explanation. Teacher and students discuss the examples. Teacher distributes the cyclostyled sheets. Students complete the exercises given.
REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to get answers correctly.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Writing essay – The important of modern technology. By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: list out the points using mind-mapping
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes the topic on the blackboard. Students study the topic. Teacher gives an explanation. Students using mind-mapping to list out the points. Students doing their draft.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Reading Skill By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: complete the objective questions (Question 1 – 29)
ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the reference books. Teacher gives an explanation. Students read the passage and answer the objective questions. Teacher and students discuss the answers.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to score more than 20 out of 29 of their answers.
DATE DAY CLASS TIME	11 January 2011 Tuesday 6AK3 7.05 -8.15
THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Listening Practice By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: complete the listening exercise
ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the cyclostyled sheets. Teacher gives an explanation. Teacher plays the listening CD twice. Students complete the blanks based on listening text. Students and teacher discuss the answers.
REFLECTION	Most of the students cannot answer Part 3. Teacher needs to do more practice on Part 3.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar : Tenses By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: complete the table using past tense and past participle
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes few examples on the blackboard. Students study the examples given. Teacher asks few students to complete the examples. Teacher and students discuss the examples. Students complete the table using correct tenses.
REFLECTION	Teacher needs to do more practice about tense as half of the class cannot identify the tenses.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue The advantages and disadvantages of having credit cards By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: present their ideas on the topic
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks students orally. Students answer orally. Teacher writes the topic on the blackboard. Students discuss the topic individually. Students present individually.
REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to list out their ideas using mind-mapping
