THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Reading Text – Finding meaning using contextual clues. By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: find out the meaning using dictionaries
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes the list of words on the blackboard. Teacher distributes the dictionaries. Students write the list of words and search for meaning in the dictionaries. Students complete the blanks using the correct words.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to complete the exercises.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Reading- Graphic materials By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: answer objective exercises
ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the cyclostyled passages. Teacher gives an explanation. Students skimming and scanning the passages. Students answer the objective exercises.
REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to get more than 10 of their answers correct out of 22.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar- Vocabulary Practice By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: find out meaning of words using dictionaries
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes out the list of words on the blackboard. Teacher gives an explanation. Students search the meaning using dictionaries. Students complete the sentences using words.
REFLECTION	Majority of the group managed to complete the sentences using the words given based on the contextual clues.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar – vocabulary Practice By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: look for meanings of words
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes examples on the blackboard. Students and teacher doing the examples. Teacher gives the list of words. Students write the words and look for the meanings.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to complete the blanks using the words given.

REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to get the information from the listening textx.

ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the cyclostyled worksheets. Teacher gives an explanation. Teacher plays the listening texts. Students listen and complete the blanks with information based on the listening texts.
REFLECTION	Majority of the students managed to fill in the blanks using the information from the listening texts.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Grammar - vocabulary By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: fill in the blanks using correct vocabulary given
ACTIVITIES	Teacher writes down the list of words on the blackboard. Teacher gives an explanation. Students find the meaning using dictionaries. Students complete the sentences using the correct vocabulary given.
REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to get more than 5 out of 10 of their answers correct.

THEME TOPIC OBJECTIVE	Social Issue Vocabulary – matching meaning of words By the end of the lesson students, students should be able: match the words given with the meaning
ACTIVITIES	Teacher asks questions orally. Teacher gives examples to students. Students and teacher discuss on the examples given. Students complete the exercises given.
REFLECTION	Most of the students managed to match the words with the meaning.

ACTIVITIES	Teacher distributes the cyclostyled worksheets. Teacher gives an explanation. Students work in group and prepare the task. Teacher divides students into group.
REFLECTION	Students were asked to prepare the task for the next lesson on Monday.
